Studies On Phytoremediation Of Nephrolepis Auriculata(L.) For Arsenic, Mercury, Lead And Cadmium In The Multiple Contaminated Soils

In the thesis, the concentrations of arsenic, mercury, lead and cadmium in the series samples corresponding to roots, stems, leaves of Nephrolepis auriculata(L.) Nephrolepis auriculata(L.), which had been training in lab with a series of potted incubation experiments through the orthogonal test were analyzed. Based on the results, methods of the range analysis and the variance analysis were used, and then demonstrated that:(1) the plant of Nephrolepis auriculataiL.) has a function to beneficiate heavy metals of arsenic and lead, and has well concentrates of cadmium and mercury from soils. The distributive behaviors of arsenic, mercury, lead and cadmium in N. sauriculata(L.) are corresponding to in order: roots > leaves > corms > stems, stems > leaves > roots > corms, roots > stems > corms > leaves, stems > leaves > roots > corms.(2) the correlations of the concentrations on arsenic, lead, cadmium and mercury in different tisses of Nephrolepis auriculata(L.) and soils were carriedout: (1)the arsenic content in leaves of Nephrolepis auriculata(L.) and in soil are positive correlation, whereas arsenic in the leaves and roots does not have remarkable relevance. The cadmium content in soil promotes the stems of Nephrolepis auriculataiL.) accumulating arsenic remarkably. Low concentration lead in soil accelerate the stem of Nephrolepis auriculataiL.) absorbing arsenic, but highly concentration lead restrain stems of Nephrolepis auriculata(L.) absorbing arsenic. Low concentration of mercury in soils suppressed stems of Nephrolepis auriculata(L.) to accumulate arsenic, but higher concentration of mercury promoted the stems to concentrate arsenic, (2)mercury content in the stems and roots showed a positive correlation with the concentration of mercury in soils, but the mercury content in leaves did not show a remarkable relevance with the mercury content in soils; Arsenic in soils promoted mercury to enrich in leaves; Low concentration of cadmium in soils promoted the accumulation of mercury in leaves of Nephrolepis auriculata(L.), but the highly concentration suppressed the leaves to absorb mercury, (3)lead content in roots of Nephrolepis auriculata(L.) has a...
