Chromic anhydride is a important inorganical chemical industrial products.With the development of society, the need to it is increasing day by day , the gap is very large. In traditional production processes, such as Na2Cr2O7-H2SO4 batch fusion process, ontinuous external heating or autothermal reaction process, and wet process, etc, the losses of chromium, the accompanying environment contaminated and bad product quality still exist. Electrochemical synthesis method , as a green technology ,have advantage of without pollution, low investment, high yield and good product quality,where other methodologies haven't.Its a hot research spot.This paper use Na2CrO4 as raw material,carry out electrosynthesis chromic anhydride process, fundamental research of select cation-exchange membrane, electrochemical synthesis reactor and electrode material,preliminary optimize technological conditions and variation law of cell voltage , etc,have a important science theory bearing and engineering application perspective.Cation-exchange membrane is a important constitutent part of electrochemical synthesis reactor. Proceeding with analysis characteristic of electrosynthesis chromic anhydride from Na2CrO4, inosculate with marketing structure and behaviour of cation-exchange membrane,screen out relatively good cation-exchange membrane of electrosynthesis chromic anhydride from Na2CrO4. Design and self-made two-compartment electrosynthesis reactor which consisted of anode compartment of pure titanium and cathode compartment of stainless steel.Electrode is not only the catalyst of electrosynthesis chromic anhydride, but also the electrochemistry reactive place. Contrapose characteristic of electrosynthesis chromic anhydride from Na2CrO4 process, design and self-made cathode of stainless steel, combination anode of titanium matrix with a multiple-unit metal oxides coating.In self-made two-chamber electrosynthesis reactor of pure titanium and stainless steel with Aciplex?-F4602 cation-exchange membrane, a cathode of stainless steel, and a anode coating with multiple-unit metal oxides Ti/TiO2- RuO2-IrO2.
