Testing And Analysis Cutting Force Of PDC Cutters

A study aims at weakness and requirement as aspect of basic technique study of PDC bit company and it consists of testing the cutting force experiment, and analysis the cutting force affecting rule. Based on this, it probes into the study of cutting force calculating model of PDC cutters restrictedly.The experiment portion of work comprised back rake angle, side rake angle, bevel configuration, roughness of surface, depth, cutting rapidity, the mechanics property parameter of rocks of cutting force testing, corresponding to forty nine PDC cutters and six types of rock.Based on the data, this study studies the cutting force affected by the characteristic parameter of PDC cutters, the mechanics property parameter of rocks, the working parameter of PDC bit.Besides of this, this study probes into the study of cutting force calculating model of PDC cutters restrictedly based on the data and rule of the PDC cutter's cutting force.This study studies the cutting force affected by diversified factor roundly and systemic with experiment. The harvest of this study will actively effect on accelerating developing the level of analysis and design of PDC bit in our country.
