In this paper, the structure and character,synthesis method, the recent research on surface synthesis and the main application fields of fluoroacrylate copolymers were summarized. Due to character of fluorin atom, fluoride polymers have excellent surface quality except good hot-stability and chemic-stability. On the basic of it, fluoride polymers were applied to spin, leather, dope and so on.In this paper, fluoroacrylate copolymers were prepared by solution copolymerization and soap-free emulsion with the fluoroacrylate monomer, methyl methylacrylate, ethylene acrylate etc, and the reaction processe and the character fluoroacrylate copolymers were discussed. With the solvent of 4-Methyl-Pentanone-2 and the initiator of azobisisobutyro-nitrile, the fluoroacrylate copolymers were prepared by solution copolymerization. The effects of reaction temperature, concentration initiator on reaction velocity were studied. And the water-resistance, alkali-resistance, solvent-resistance and surface properties of the copolymer paints were studied. When fluoroacrylate copolymers were applied to dope, solidify performance was studied.The fluorinated acrylate copolymers emulsions were prepared by the soap-free emulsion copolymerization, KPS as initiator, copolymerization emulsion with butyl acrylate and methacrylic acid as emulsifiers. Study on soap-free emulsion polymerization dynamics was carried out such as the effects of reaction temperature, dosage of initiator and emulsifiers. The structure of copolymers were analyzed by IR spectrum ; The size, shape and distribution of latex particles were characterized by Transmission Electron Micrograph(TEM); Stabilities of emulsions, water-resistance, contact angle to water, heat-resistance of latex films were characterized.The results are as follows:(1)In the reaction, monomer conversion increases along with the augment of temperature, concentration of initiator, but has little change when fluoroacrylate monomer concentration changed.(2)The water-resistance, alkali-resistance, solvent-resistance and surface properties of the fluoroacrylate copolymer film are more excellent than non-fluoroacrylate copolymer.(3)In the emulsion copolymerization, the size of latex particles diminishes along with the increase of concentration of initiator and emulsifiers, but has little change when fluoroacrylate monomer concentration changed.(4)Fluorin atom has property of going to exterior through analysis in exterior...
