A 100 ton converter and a 100 ton LF are newly builded in No.1 steelmaking and rolling factory of Anyang Iron and Steel groups Limited Co. (briefly named AnGang). Production has been normal since the beginning of the production, but the converter final control level is very bad, the variations of the final temperature and sulphur content are wide especially, because the hot metal is not be pretreatmented and thus the contents of sulphur and phosphor in hot metal are high and uneven, these deteriorate the LF operiation. So, in order to not to increase the heat load of converter, ensure the effect of heating and desulfurization, and not to enlongate the time of power supply and refining, and consequently save energy, decrease consumption and raising labour productivity, it is necessary to optimizing the final control of converter and find out the control level of the final sulphur content, temperature, slag quantity into ladle.Effect of converter final control on refinning of LF for refining low carbon steel(C7D) and high carbon steel(65) in No.l steelmaking and rolling factory of Anyang Iron and Steel groups Limited Co. is researched. The research content are as following.(1) Effect of final temperature control of converter on power inputing time and refining time of LF;(2) Effect of final sulphur control of converter on power inputing time and refining time of LF;(3) Effect of slag quantity in ladle on power inputing time and refining time of LF. The following main results are obtained:(1) With the undesulfurizationed hot metal, ladle temperature in the range of 1575℃~1600℃(converter final temperature in the range of 1635℃~1660℃), final sulphur content less than 0.045%, the height of slag less than 130mm, it is needn't to deslagging for ensure the refining time shorter than 36min when melting the low carbon steel(C7D) in converter, and the liquid steel temperature can reach target temperature and at the same time the demand of production can be satisfaied. Thus the temperature load of the converter isn't improved as well as power can be saved.(2) With the undesulfurizationed hot metal, ladle temperature in the range of 1550℃~1570℃ (converter final temperature in the range of 1620℃~1640℃), final sulphur content less than 0.046%, the height of slag less than 100mm, the LF refining time can be controlled under 32min when melting the steel of 65.
