Study On Organic Contaminants And Genetoxicity Of Landfill Leachates In An Integrated Sanitary Disposal Site In Z City

ObjectivePeople are attaching more importance to the environmental effect of wastes ,and harmful substances release from wastes and their biological effects have become an important research task.Landfill leachate is sewage originating from landfill which contains dissolved and suspended contaminants such as microorganism ,organic toxicants and heavy metals , especialy in industrial city.These toxicants threaten the inhabitant s health by means of contaminating the water system and soil in the vicinity of the disposal site.The current study of internal and external is limited to micro-organism and mineral.It has been found that the current main research work was the pollution and genetoxicity of heavy metals.However the research of organic contaminants in landfill leachate is the direction from now on ,especially the quality and quantity analysis of organic toxicants .But the research of organic contaminants in water has been launched widely,and it has been recognized that landfill leachate is one of the sources of water pollution .In view of the lagging in organic toxicants research of landfill leachate , study of organic pollution of landfill leachate is imperative under the situation .This research intended to evaluate the organic contaminants and genetoxicity of landfill leachates in an integrated sanitary disposal site in Z city in order to find out the pollution and genetoxicity of municipal landfill and provide scientific bases.Methods1 ,Landfill leachate-mixtures of quite a few samples taken from the outer round of the integrated sanitary disposal site in an industrial district of Z city and the samples of underground water (from wells) in the vicinity down the integrated sanitary...
