Designing And Realizing Realtime Foreign Fibre Detection System

With highspeed develop of electronic technology, DSP is fully used in the factory and family.Coupling with computer and DSP which has strong ablility on computing is a good way to realize realtime and high performance system.As the same time, pragramable logic component is used in real time system design.For project needed, how to coupling with computer and dsp to realize a real time system,is discussed in this thesis.The thesis mainly describes forgien fiber detecting system, analyse the shortcoming of old system, design system is based on DSP(ADSP-BF533) and coring on a computer used in the industrial control. The system get digital image data through CCD, process the data by DSP and harmonize the peripheral equipments by computer for sorting the impurity and displaying the cotton in the pipeline .the main algorithms of the system are sorting and coaching.Firstly, the thesis introduces the development background .Then, It sets forth the system structure, design a new system, including hardware design and core algorithm improvement, and transplant algorithm on new dsp.
