In this work, 25 zeolites from MNaX and MHβ zeolite (M=Cu2+,Ni2+,Zn2+) were prepared by M2+ ion exchange in salt solution. Their catalytic reactivity was studed by Prins Cyclization Reaction of Citronellal, and acid character was measured. Important conclusion was given as follows:1. The result, from preliminarily study on the catalytic reactivity of MNaX and MHp, shows ion-exchange capacity have an effect on catalytic reactivity of these samples. For influence of ion-exchange capacity on catalytic reactivity, that of MNaX is bigger than MHp(M=Cu2+, Ni2+, Zn2+).2. The result, from preliminarily study on acid character of MNaX and MHβ, shows the exchange of M2+ still make MNaX and MHβ have L acid and B acid sites. But distrubition proportion of acid strength has been changed, weak acid amount increase and stronge acid amount decrease after exchange of M2+. It is reason that catalytic reactivity of MNaX and MHβ samples is better after exchange of M2+.3. The acid amount of those zeolites related with their ion-exchange capacity. For same M2+, The change of ion-exchange capacity is different with type of zeolite NaX or Hβ.4. The surface area of those samples increased on ion-exchange capacity...
