Recently, the design and synthesis of organic-inorganic hybrid compounds based on polyoxometalate blocks are of great interest owing to not only their intriguing structural frameworks but also potential applications in catalysis, medicine and materials etc.In this thesis, twelve organic-inorganic hybrid compounds have been synthesized on the basis of hydrothermal technique and/or organic solvent synthesis methods and structurally characterized by elemental analyses, IR and single crystal X-ray diffractions. The thermal stabilities, fluorescent properties, electrochemical behavior and catalytic activity of a part of the compounds have been studied.(i) Ten new organic-inorganic hybrid compounds (1~10) have been synthesized based on hydrothermal technique by the introductin of {MxLy}(M = transiton metal ions, L = N-donor ligands) fragments and structurally characterized:[Ag(4,4'-bipy)](OH){[Ag(4,4'-bipy)]2[PAgW12O40]}·3.5H2O(1){[AgⅠ(4,4'-bipy)]3[PW12O40]}·(4,4'-bipy)·4H2O(2){[AgⅠ(py)2]4[PW12ⅥO40]}H2[PW12ⅥO40]·2C5H8(3){[AgⅠ( 1,10-phen)2]4F[PW12O40]} (4)[CuⅠ(4,4'-bipy)]2(H3O) [PMo12ⅥO40]·4.5H2O (5)[CoⅡ(2,2'-bipy)2(H2O)]2[SiW12ⅥO40]·2H2O(6){[CuⅡ( 1,10-phen)]2[PMo12ⅥO40]} [CuⅡ(C8N4H6)(OH)3] (7)[MnⅡ(1,10-phen)3]2[PW11ⅥVⅤO40](8)[CuⅠ(2,2'-bipy)2]3[PW12ⅥO40](9)[Cd(2,2'-bipy)3]2[PMoⅤMo11ⅥO40] (10)(ii) Two discrete cagelike complexes (11 and 12) based on organic group and POMs unit have been synthesized and structurally characterized:[H6Mo8ⅥO27]·3C4N2H10 (11)[H3PMo12O40]·3(4,4'-bipy)·4H2O(12)...
