This paper has performed a research for the formula of the tungsten type delay composition and its fabricated technique, and it also has discussed the combusting mechanism of the tungsten type delay composition. The result of study shows that the delay time of composition is high precise when the content of tungsten is in range of 20% ~ 40%. By using the chemical deposition -method of together deposition, it has developed a W-BaCrO4-KClO4 delay composition that the grain of composition is easy dispersed when the grain flows, and its delay time is high precise (no more than 10%). It had got steady syntactic processing technique .According to the photography of electron.mirror and analysis of X-diffract inflection, it can prove that tungsten type delay composition is a crystal that not be covered by many layers by using chemical deposition - Co-precipitation method.
