Vicarious Nucleophilic Substitution of hydrogen(VNS), the hydrogen on the carbo-and heterocyclic nitroarenes was substituted by functional carbanions containing leaving groups(α—place) in strong base conditions. The method of this reaction is moderate, under room temperature and pressure; the reaction steps can be reduced, and results in good yields; the reaction process is safe; the nucleophilic reagents can be selected extensively, enlarging the application scope. So it has the important application in chemical synthesis.In this paper, Nitrobenzene, m-Nitrobenzoic acid, p-Nitrobenzoic acid were aminated by Vicarious Nucleophilic Substitution of hydrogen, using 4-amino-1,2,4-triazole in sodium methoxide and dimethylsulfoxide at normal temperature and pressure. The reaction mechanism was discussed; the effects of various conditions on the reaction were optimized by the method of factor analysis; and the structures of the products were characterized by IR,~1H-NMR,and MS.
