Eutrophication has become the most important problem of lakes and reservoirs in our country. Lake and reservoir have the same eutrophication mechanism, so it is feasible to research the two water areas together. But the occurrence of eutrophication hears some factors, different water area has different decisive one. Which requires research combined with the actual condition of water body and embodies pertinence. Shengli Oilfield locates in the lower of Yellow River. As the groundwater cannot be resources for drinking water because of high salt content, serious basification of the soil, the encroaching of seawater upon groundwater and high mineralization, Yellow River has become the only water resource for the local residents. Recently, as the water quality has worsened and the water quantity of Yellow River has changed year after year. So the source water must be reserved in the reservoir firstly, enter into the water purification plant later.the research on the eutrophication assessment,predication and management in Shengli Oilfield reservoirs has been probed.Guangnan,Xinan,Gengjing reservoirs of Shengli Oilfield have been firstly selected, then analysis eutrophication influence factors in these water bodies. After the eutrophication assessment of the actual condition in these water bodies, the feasibility of several typical assessment models have been validated, eutrophication level of these water bodies and eutrophication limited factors of these water bodies have also been given. Then the relationship between phytoplankton and nutritive element has been observed. On the basis of assessment, yearly distribution of TP concentration and the whole water's eutrophication level of Gengjing reservoir before 2015 have been discussed, then theoretically analyzed the probability of eutrophication. All these research programs mentioned above were to provide foundation for eutrophication gross control and pollution prevention in reservoir. The following were the results.(1)Water quality deterioration of Guannan reservoir is relatively more serious. The water quality of Guannan reservoirs has reached meso-europhic level.And the water qualities of Xinan and Gengjing reservoirs have reached mesotrophic...
