The Rail Flash Butt Welding System Of Direct Current Impulsive Motion

With the developing of the national economy and traffic industry, high-speed railway, subterranean railway and tramway has been used more and more, the welding of seemless railway is the key technic.In this paper, on the base of the study of flash butt welding theory, a new intelligent control system of rail flash butt welding is developed. In this control system, Industrial Computer is used, the moving bench is drove by electrohydraulic servo valve, the control strategy is instantaneous control theory, the control software, which is real-time and multitasking and , is compiled with Visual C++ ,through the control software, the welding parameter real-time and the control signal is sent real-time.Before welding, based on the parameters which are set by custom the control software determine motion index points of different welding stages; in the welding process, the control software collect the motion of the moving bench, the current of voltage changer , the voltage of welding, and enter the corresponding welding stages based on the different motion index points. In the flash stage, in order to prolong the life period of single contact and reduce the time of idle running of non-contact, the control software use instantaneous control theory to drive the moving bench on the base of the current and the voltage collected.This paper introduce the design of the mechanical system, the electric power system and electric system individually, and introduce the compile procedure of the control software. This paper has laid a foundation for the further work to the development of the new equipment and new technology of rail flash butt welding.
