(1)A novel coordination polymer, [Mn3(NiL1)2(CH3OH)2(N3)6]∞, was synthesized. It has a macrocyclic oxamido complex molecule as capping ligand. The Mn ions having different coordination environments are linked by N3- (both EO and EE) bridges. The briging pattern in the chain is observed for the first time. The coordination polymer is characterized both by spectral methods and X-ray single crystal diffraction. The possible magnetic interactions between the metal ions were discussed.(2)One new mononuclear Cu(II) complexe ligand and three heteronuclear complexes of macrocyclic oxamides were synthesized. The complexes are characterized both by spectral methods and X-ray single crystal diffraction. The weak interactions in the crystals are discussed.(3)Two new complexes, [Cr(DMSO)6]Cl3 and [Fe(DMSO)4Cl2]Cl, were synthesized. The X-ray single crystal structures show that the two complexes form novel multifurcated C–H···Cl- hydrogen bonds. The six hydrogen atoms of the hexafurcated C–H···Cl- hydrogen bonds of the former are coplaned. This is the first example with such kind of coplaned hexafurcated C–H···Cl- hydrogen bond. The C–H···Cl- hydrogen bonds dictate the crystal structures of the two complexes. The complexes were also characterized by IR,UV spectral and TG methods.
