(1) A new eight coordinate Zn(II) complexe was synthesized by using a macrocyclic complex ligand. The complex was characterized by X-ray single crystal diffraction, UV spectra and IR spectra. The abnormally long coordination bonds and high coordination number were rationalized as being stabilized by intermorlecular interactions, such as electrostatic attraction, C-H···лhydrogen bonds, C-H···O hydrogen bonds etc.(2) The resolution reagents and the substrates could not bind firmly in"inclusion resolution"of racemate. We try to design and synthesize N-salicylidene-L-tyrosine salicylidenehydrazide, N-salicylidene-L-phenylalanine salicylidenehydrazide and their complexes for the use as new types of resolution reagents. We hope the substrates and the complexes could form coordinate bonds so that their binding can be strengthened. According to the solubility and the IR spectrogram, we inferred the structures of the complexes. We explained the possible reason that disalicylidene hydrazine occurred in the preparation process of the complexes.
