Chirality is a universal phenomenon in the nature. Various substance that associates with life owns chiral center, such as protein, peptides, amino acids and chiral drugs. The D and L enantiomer , which has different optical activity and stereo structure plays different roles in the pharmacological and biological activities in vivo. Therefore chiral analysis of D, L-enantiomers is of great interest and of increasing importance in life science and many other related fields.Chiral separation by capillary electrophoresis(CE) is one of the most important offshoots in the analytical field. CE has several advantages: rapid and high resolving power, automation, low consumption of sample, solvent and chiral selector, as well as its high flexibility in choosing and changing types of selectors and operate modes. It is increasingly developed to become an important technique used in chiral separation. Recently, it has been applied to a wide range of reseach fields such as biology, chemistry, pharmaceutical analysis, environmental protection and foods science et al.In this paper, new system for enantiosepartion of aminos and penicillamine and benproperine were studied by CE. And the main ideas of it are followings:1. A method is presented for the chiral separation of penicillamine enantiomers. The penicillamine enantiomers were derivatized with 1-chloro-2, 4-dinitrobenze and separated by capillary electrophoresis. sulfated-β-cyclodextrin (S-β-CD) as chiral selector were examined for the enantionmeric separation of penicillamine. Optimal separation was obtained at pH 9.5, 50 mmol/L borate solution containing 25 mmol/L S-β-CD, as well as 20 kV applied voltage and 20℃capillary temperature. Detection was followed by direct UV absorptiometric measurements at 202 nm. The derivatives of...
