In order to increase the efficiency of design and scale-up of Pilot Plant Jet Loop Reactor.Local hydrodynamics properties and liquid-solid heat transfer coefficients were experimentally measured under different conditions.The modified pito tube was set up .With the aid of the statistical theory of turbulence, the local liquid phase flow characteristics of the gas-liquid/liquid-solid two-phase flow and gas-liquid-solid three-phase in the Pilot Plant Jet Loop Reactor such as time-average velocity and turbulent fluctuating velocity were study experimentally. In particular , effects of the jet liquid flowrates and liquid viscosity in the draft tube and annual were discussed. In gas-liquid two phase the radial distribution of average velocity is parabola, in solid-liquid two phase, there is a sudden increases beside the wall of draft ; In gas-liquid-solid three phase is a"M"type radial distribution of average velocity.The local gas phase flow characteristics of the gas-liquid two phase and gas-liquid-solid three phase of the Pilot Plant Jet Loop Reactor such as the radial profiles of the gas holdup and bubble mean velocity using a dual-sensor micro-type resistance probe ,were investigated and discussed .It shows that the gas hold up and bubble velocity increase with the increase of the jet liquid flowrates, but decreased with the increase of liquid visocity .PV4A solid hold up and velocity equipment was used to study the local solid phase flow characteristics of the solid-liquid two phase in the medium self-asprated reversed flow jet loop reactor. Using a dual-sensor micro-type resistance probe combing with the dual-needle electrical conductivity probe to measure the solid hold up in the gas-liquid-solid three phase medium self-asprated reversed flow jet loop rector. Effects of the jet liquid flowrates and liquid viscosity in the draft tube and annual were discussed.Measurement of electrical metal thermo-foil heater surface temperature is used to study the liquid-solid heat transfer characteristic in liquid-solid/gas-liquid–solid Pilot Plant Jet Loop Reactor. It concludes that heat transfer coefficients increases with the increase of jet liquid flowrates, decreases with the increase of liquid viscosity. And the local radial distribution of heat transfer coefficient is uniformity except a sudden increase beside the wall .
