The safe mining craft method, which is put forward to solve all kinds of complicated problems of the underground mining after the open-pit mining, is researched to adapt to the underground mining beneath the strip mine. Nowadays because of the puzzling complicated problems of the underground mining after and beneath the strip mine, it is necessary to analyze the stability of the high steep slope of the strip mine and the expatiation of the underground mining craft. Also establishing the suitable mining system is needed to solve the filling of overlay in mining hollow and prevent the debris flow in the rainy season. The paper discusses all of the problems above.In the aspect of the high steep slope of the strip mine, as well as the influence of the overlay and debris fall in mining hollow, the stability of the slope is analyzed based on the matter of the fact, the analysis of the slope and crannies influenced by the mining of the open-pit and underground shaft, and slope destroy mode evoked by water. In the aspect of mining craft of the Pillarless Sublevel Caving, such proceedings as drilling, blasting optimization, ore drawing mode and the related ventilation are introduced as the numerical particle simulation of ore drawing and blasting-hole configuration map auto-drafted by computer programming are discussed. Then according to factors such as the crannies configuration, water geology and mining movement, the debris flow in the rainy season are systemically analyzed and guarded against flooding into the underground shafts through collapse areas. All in all, the in-depth study of the all aspects of the mining after and beneath the open-pit mining about the Daye Iron mine has the definite meaning as use for reference.
