Simulating And Analyzing Of Intermediate Table Insulation Technology In Hot Continuous Rolling

Computer is applied broadly in the field of steel rolling industry, along with the development of computer technology and rolling theories. For the aim of creating and improving the mathematic model in the rolling process, advance the academic level, and also for the ultimate quality and the shape control of the plate, this paper via the course of simulation of the rolling process, fetch out the distribution of the various variable during the rolling process, and do the general analyses to the result.The plate temperature drop fast during the intermediate roller table. Reduction the length of the roller table, increase the speed of the plate and install heat preservation cover on the intermediate roller table and so on are effectiveness methods in the reduction of heat dissipate and heat difference between the head-tail of the plate.Through the research of the heat preservation in the hot rolling process, Wuhan Iron & Steel Company. Analyzing the influence that the finishing rolling under the control of the technology and the chief cause of the temperature drop in the intermediate roller table, through numerical statement, subsumption, arrangement of the actual measured data which got in the hot continuous rolling production field in the use of the heat preservation cover. According to the product condition, we creating the temperature drop mathematic model of the plate when it on the intermediate table and calculate the temperature distribution of the cross section as use finite difference. We also creating rolling pressure,rolling torque and rolling capacity mathematic model. The simulation system which was written in VB programming language has a good operating interface and high agility, it can gather important technical parameters and show them in time. After all, we simulate and analyze the influence of the technology that the intermediate roller table with heat preservation to the temperature of the slab and the parameters in the finishing rolling.The research show that according to the control of the heat preservation in the intermediate roller table can save the energy, decrease the temperature drop of the slab, influence the important parameters of the finishing rolling and also make conditions to control the temperature of the rolling table. The result provide reference and guidance to process-controlling in industry.
