Sheet bend forming is one of more used common processing methods which turns the sheet into certain shape and angle. As thickness and overall size scope of workpiece is very big, the shape and precision of workpiece also exist very difference, therefore there are many bending technique methods in the application, for example, V-bending, U-bending and other complex shape bending etc. The existing of springback influence the precision of workpiece seriously during the sheet bending forming process. Springback in matter of mould,the shape and size of workpiece,material performance of sheet and parameter of others, so springback is very complex and important too, forecast and control it is the key of improve the precision of workpiece.This article has researched the influencing factor of bending springback looking the sheet U-bend forming as the object of study through the theoretical analysis and the experiment. The relationship between bending force and bending stoke and the theoretical calculation formula of bending springback has been analyzed and inferred; Using the data acquisiton system basing on the LabVIEW has carried the material performance parameter test experiment; Using the U-bending experimental system has carried the experiment of U free bending and U draw bending; The influence rule of springback about material performance, sheet thickness, the mold size, the pressure-pad-force as well as the friction etc. has analyzed which has certain guiding sense to U-bending craft making and the mold design, as well as the following U-bend forming intellectualized control research.
