Study On The Preparation And Quality Standards Of Minkang Capsules

Minkang capsule is an effective prescription to cure allergic purpura syndrome which is composed of eleven kinds of herbs of traditional Chinese medicine. There are many active components in the prescription, and most of the active substances and their pharmacologic action have been identified on the whole.Based on the former study results, this experiment extracted active substances according to their physical and chemical properties. Firstly, Cornu Bubali compressed powder is a kind of extract in itself. Panax pseudo-ginseng is a valuable herb. Moutan cortex and Atractylodes macrocephala contain volatile components and small dosage crashed pieces of them are needed in the prescription, and the powder was used as part of the adjuvant. The active components of Folium Isatidis, rehmannia dride rhizome and Herba Cirsii cannot dissolve in water, so alcohol is applied in the abstraction. Herba Agrimoniae, charred Radix Sanguisorbae, Raidix Paeoniae Alba and Radix Astragali contain glycoside and tannin which are extracted after by decoction in water.The best technics condition of Minkang capsule was chose by orthogonal experiment from the abstraction technologies above and the forming technology was studied. Moreover, the quality control method of Minkang capsule was studied in qualitation and quantity by microscope differential method, TLC, UV and HPLC. In addition,the primary stability of Minkang capsule was tested in three months, finding the technology of Minkang capsule convenient and feasible, the physical and chemical properties steady and the quality controllable.
