With the development of metallurgy profession, steel slags, as the byproduct of steel-making, are accumulated year to year, which not only occupies the massive lands, but pollutes the environment. So each steel mill must face a question that to make steel slag into resource. But now, there are many disadvantages about utilizing steel slag. On the foundation of analyzing the present situation of research in domestic and foreign thoroughly, Bao-steel, Shanghai, proposed a new method of recycling steel slag. Namely, by improving ingredient, make the best of steel slags'original nature, and make it into slow release silicon-potash fertilizer. This article takes this craft as research object.Firstly, Curve fit the outputs of silicon-potash fertilizer in water in different conditions. Then, figure out each outputs of fertilizer in water for 1day, 28days and 1year. Referring to the European committee's explanation about silicon-potash fertilizer, analyze the slow releasing nature.Secondly, using BP nerve network, curve fit the mathematical statistic relations between experiment conditions and results, thus forecast the experimental result under other experimental conditions. Then use the orthogonal analysis method to carry on the range and the variance analysis. Find out the size and degree of influence about various factors to the experiment result. Referring to the analyzed result, determine the best experimental conditions.Finally, in the premise of the best experimental conditions determined, analyse each part of the craft, and then find out the best parameters of it. In this foundation, analyse the possible flows of entire craft, and select out the process with the best economic efficiency.All in all, this article analyzes the feasibility of the craft,"making desiliconized slag into slow release silicon-potash fertilizer", and then determined the best reaction conditions, craft parameters and craft route, which provides foundation for the next work.
