Gas accidents seriously threaten the security of coalmine. In recent years, Mining disasters frequently have happened, leading to heavy injuries, deaths and money losses. Da shuitou coalmine is high gas pit. There are five kinds of disaster in it. For a long time, managers always attach importance to dealing with accidents after they have occured. But, this kind of management pattern is confined to knowledge, experience and sense of liability of administrative personnel, hardly suit to complicated and varied gas disasters.OSHMS is modern safety management pattern in the world in 1980', it is systematic and scientific management system. Today people give risk management. All results of disaster can be eliminated, by identification of hazard-source of danger, risk appraise, depending on risk control techniques, to get the best safety ensure. So this article put forwards"Study and Application of Risk Management on Gas Accident in Coalmine Da shuitou", It will be good for establishing OSHMS in the world in the future.The author researches theory and application on risk management and identifies hazard-source of danger by PHA in human, machine, environment and management, for example East 103 fully-mechanized caving face, combining the theory of two kinds of hazard-source of danger and of the third kind of hazard-source of danger in the thesis. The author appraises harm and process of gas explosion accident by FTA, safety management current situation by safety check form, and gives suited rick control steps.This thesis is of momentous current significance for preventing gas accidents.
