Simulated moving bed chromatography (SMBC), as an important scale-up fine separation means, has been widely applied. Because SMBC is scale-up fine separation technology, so the efficiency and quality in the post-treatment processes should be geared to the SMBC technology. And the optimization of post-treatment parameters is hardly discussed in literatures. In this paper SMBC post-treatment technology are studied, the natural products Gingko flavonoids and chiral drug PG05 are used to research. There are two main parts in the experiments of this paper.Part I , Concentration and drying of the Gingko flavonoids SMBC products. The equipments were selected and combinated. Determination of the equipment parameters and technology scheme.Part II , Stability analysis of chiral drug PG05 in the concentration process. Determination of the temperature and operating period in the concentration processes, analysis the influnce of PH value. The experiment results show: there is color reaction for the Gingko flavonoids in the stainless steel concentrator, and metal ions resident is larger in products, even if through desactivation the effect also cannot be eliminated for this kind of products. It is suitable to use the enamel evaporator and glass evaporator, in this experiment the purity 99% Gingko flavonoids products are obtained, when the above material concentrator were used. The experiment results also show: it is very necessary to controll the stability conditions for the chiral drug PG05 and the kinds of componets, which can be hydrolyzed, degraded and transformed in water and methonal. The effects of temperature, operating period, PH value are obvious to the stability of S-PG05 in concentration process. In the experiments, the stability of S-PG05 can be kept and the higer purity S-PG05 can be obtained, under the following conditions: concentration temperature ≤ 50℃, appropriate PH and concentration operating period ≤ 20 hours.
