Research On Aqueos Dye-Based Ink For Color Ink-Jet And Prescription Parameter

With the far-ranging application of digitization in packaging and printing and the increasing requirement of high quality color pictures, the color ink-jet printing,with better quantity and lower price, has become the most rapidly expanding printing method. Meanwhile, the color ink-jet ink, as one kind of its main consumed material, will have great market potentiality. The purpose of this research is to develop a kind of formula of six color ink-jet ink, which has better quality and lower price and is suitable to industrialize, and also to analyze and discuss the interrelated mechanisms.In this paper, the principle and sorts of ink-jet printing technology are introduced concisely. The influence of color ink-jet ink to printing effect and its important station are analysized. The basic compositions and function of color ink-jet ink, and the basic varied performances of eligible color ink-jet ink are summarized.By experiment, a set of new type six-color ink-jet ink formula which satisfy people's strict need to printing quality are developed based on the research on the relation of the ink composition and the ink`s viscosity and surface tension.The physical chemistry performance of the formula and the compatibility between the ink we developed and the purchased ink are tested,and the ink we developed is filled into empty ink boxes, and then improve on the formula in term of testing result after the printing performance is tested,in the ultimate,we develop six-color ink-jet ink according with color ink-jet ink standard constituted by the Development and Innovation Committee of China.Then, the printing effect of the ink improved is compared with that of the purchased ink. The environmental condition`s influence on the ink`s printing performance is tested, and the changeable curve graphs which the ink`s viscosity and surface tension are changed with temperature are drawed and the best printing temperature is 15℃～30℃. Lastly, the printing effect is compared with our ink in common paper and coating paper, it turns out that color polish is not good and color density is also usually low in common paper.
