Forwarder sucker mechanism is one key part in the paper feed mechanism, which can effect the working accuracy of feeding paper. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the forwarder sucker mechanism and design new conjugate cam mechanism of forwarder sucker. The new mechanism should have good motion performance in high speed. The paper also makes the forwarder sucker mechanism parameterize, which can provide the references to design and analyze the printing and die-cutter mechanism.The main context of this subject concludes:(1)Using the knowledge of rigid body kinematics and mechanical kinetics to analyze the static and dynamic performance of the forwarder sucker mechanism, and make sure it has a good motion performance in high-speed situation. Utilizing Pro-ENGINEER to simulate the movement of the mechanism and approve the trueness of adopted analysis method.(2)Through the analysis results of the existing mechanism, the shortcoming of mechanism is found out. According to the parameter selection standard of the cam mechanism, the new parameter is selected and the new conjugate cam mechanism is designed by adopting the design methods of cam. The new mechanism can cover the shortage of original mechanism, and make sure forwarder sucker can feed paper smoothly in high- speed case.(3)To design the parameterization software of forwarder sucker mechanism, which is operated easily. The software can design forwarder sucker mechanism and analyze the motion performance of mechanism. Its output is simple and perspicuous in means of data and figure. It can provide the references for designing and improving the forwarder sucker mechanism.The subject takes the manufacturing practice as start point. Through designing the forwarder sucker mechanism, to make sure the paper is fed smoothly in high-speed situation. There is the important meaning to increase the rate and stability of paper feed mechanism and also can provide good platform to research the printing and die-cutter mechanism.
