New dry process cement production with high output and low consumption is the trend of development of cement industry. In our country, Some of clinker production line 700 t/d can't reach the design targets and productive capacity, which confine the development of enterprise. The subject analysis the main problem of the system, which consists of limestone crush, raw mill, homogenization and kiln system. The article emphasis on raw mill and preheater and pre-calciner system and represent detail the process parameter and constructor size of the system. At the basic of investigation, a reform program are put forward, and a design plan for 700 t/d up to 1000 t/d are determined. Some of the detailed design principle was made.(1) retaining the original building maximally, reduce the cost of civil work;(2) modification cooling system with mature grate cooler;(3) utilizing the original rotary kiln, just increasing the rotation speed.The result of the research was applied in the reformation of 700t/d clinker line in the JGHD company. With the technical modification, the line clinker output was raised to 1100t/d, the heat consumption was reduced from 4900kJ/kg.cli to 3637kJ/kg.cli. The reformation result exceed the target of design capacity .
