Building tailing embankment in subsidence area, and using coal waste rock as dam construction material both have great importance on problems such as saving soil resource, the utilization of waste products, protecting environment and engineering safety. Under the future embankment area, there are worked-out sections, pasted, presented and future. The construction field has complex conditions. The works of studying on dam construction, coal mining and the subsidence of embankment area that they bring about have great theory value and practical meaning. The feasibility study about dam construction at subsidence area in Fan Gezhuang Coal Mine uses the methods of theory analysis and numerical modeling. The main content is:1, Investigation into the fundamental conception and propagation law of wave, and the method to deal with it2, Presentation of rocks and soils dynamic constitutive models3, Presentation of rocks and soils analysis soft FLAC3D4, Combined with associated theories, solving real engineering problems and evaluating the feasibility of dam construction at subsidence area in Fan Gezhuang Coal Mine, then advices are given.
