To solve the problem that mold of the aluminium-melting camp stove invalidated in a short time, we chose the casting-penetration process to produce the iron matrix composite-in-face material, through researching the casting temperature, the granularity of the elements powder, match ratios of the felting dose and the flux by block and coat methods, we found out how these factors affect on the quality of the casting-penetration and the heat-resistant and erosion-resistant capability. The results proved that: when we chose 3% felting dose, penetration grain chose 50~150 granularity(50~60 amounts in each inch which occupied 65%, 100~150 amounts in each inch which occupied 35%),the ratio of penetration grain and flux is 7:3,the block is sintered at 300℃by 2 hours, casting at the temperature of 1550℃,then we got the fine casting surface and the good layer quality;the Cr penetrated and Cr-MgO penetrated composites behaved far better than the iron matrix, and Cr-MgO penetrated composites behaves best, so we can put it into use to improve the life of the mold. And casting-penetration has a bright foreground with its low costing and easy technics.
