In recent years, the progress in the study of optical resin has been made incessantly with the development of optical industry and plastic industry. In these resin materials, polycarbonate is carefully chosen, as it is easy to be manufactured. In addition, it has the high-impact strength, the high thermosetting property, the stability of its size and its self-distinguishing properties,all of these distinguish itself from other materials. However it is easy to be scratched in the process of use. Furthermore, it could inhabit fog on its surface, which directly affects the transparence and beauty. So research on abrasion resistance and anti-fog property of materials is important to our life. A few coatings can modified and protect the substrate of the surface. If the anti-fogging and abrasion-resistance coating can solve the fogging problem, it will bring huge economic benefits.Organic/ inorganic composite have been the focus of attention in recent years. We can obtain kinds of different composites by the hybriding of different organic/ inorganic. Organic/inorganic composite with the capability of anti-fog has the better storage-stability,abrasion-resistance and caking property. Organic materials and inorganic materials can composite by Sol-Gel method. The process do not need the thermal molding, so it avoids organic molecule'decompose. At present, few paintcoat on organic/ inorganic hybrid materials based on silica for anti-fogging and abrasion-resistance have been published and there are still many question have not be solved.Phenyltrimethoxysilane (DB) contains the benzene ring with strong polarity and hydrophobicity which could be molecular-modified by Chlorosulfuric acid. The molecular-modified DB thereby possesses the excellent hydrophilicity. Silicone painting has the excellent abrasion resistance, transparent property and rigidity. Homogeneous interpenetrating networks (IPNs) forms in the curing process. The coating can form a solidified abrasion-resistant layer and avoid fogging because of hydrophilic groups.We synthesis the inorganic-organic abrasion-resistant coating which could be sulfonated to be hydrophilia as the coating solidified drastically. In our work the coating is analyzed by FT-IR, UV-vis, and DSC. The results revealed that the membrane has the outstanding optical property,anti-fogging property and thermal stability. It also have the excellent abrasion-resistance, water-resistance, scrath- resistance and caking property.
