The sheet metal forming process is a basic technique for metal mold machining . It is widely used in every factory and company of country economy. Especially , the drawing process of barrel production is important in manufacturing. With the development of manufacturing, the precision of production is better and better every day. Improving the drawing process of metal cover has certainly economical meanings. The process of multidrawing for motor cover is analyzed in this article. There are two kinds of projects, one is the compound forming process and the other is the multidrawing forming process. By analyzing the two kinds of projects, one proper project will be used. The process of drawing molding especially the reversed drawing and attenuated drawing are analized by numerical simulation to find some parameters (export control parameters , binder or not and so on) for the affection of every drawing process and molding quality. The different friction coefficient is analized in reversed-drawing and the different die taper angle is analized in attenuated-drawing. So the capability and precision of production can be improved by optimizing these parameters.The results of numerical-simulation and the validation provides information for the mould emulational manufacturing. On the base of CAD of the forming process of mould, Using the MASTERCAM software for emulational manufacturing of forming mould, especially on the determination of manufacturing cutlers and working procedure.
