In this work, maleated rosinoyl chloride, acrylic rosinoyl chloride was synthesized from gum rosin modified by maleic acid, acrylic acid and sulfur oxychloride. Then the intermediates react with 1,2-diaminoethane or glycol in anhydrous reactor. The maleated rosinoyl-ethylenediamide(MRED),acrylicrosinoyl-ethylenediamide(ARED),polyethylene glycol maleated abietate(MEPG) and polyethylene glycol acrylic abietate(ARPG) was obtained, and all the compounds was characterized by IR. The effects of molar ratio(ethylenediamine and actylic rosinoyl chloride), amount of catalyst, reaction time and reaction tempreture on the yield of maleated rosinoyl-ethylenediamide were investigated by orthogonal experiment. The optimum reaction conditions were 1:1.1, 4.0 h, 40℃and amount of catalyst 1.0%. Under the optimal reaction conditions the the yield is 85%.Studies on the adsorption of all the compounds for metal ions showed that this kinds of compouns can adsorbe ions: Cu2, Fe3+, Cd2+, Hg2+ and Ag+ etc. MRED's adsorption capability(mgMn+/gMRED) was 335.84 for Cu2, 117.92 for Fe3+, 12.36 for Cd2+, 42.21 for Hg2+ and 15.12 for Ag+ respectively; ARED's: 20.6 for Cu2+, 12.8 for Fe3+, 8.5 for Cd2+, 26.15 for Hg2+ and 11.6 for Ag+; MRPG's 30.12 for Cu2+, 10.31 for Fe3+, 9.63 for Cd2+, 29.84 for Hg2+, and 12.47 for Ag+;ARPG's: 18.35 Cu2+, 9.37 for Fe3+, 9.56 for Cd2+, 18.95 for Hg2+ and 11.55 for Ag+ . The characterization of adsorbance and IR shows that they adsorbed metal ions by chemical method. The thermostability of MRED, MRED-Cu, MRPG and MRPG-Cu were determined by TGA, the results show that MRED, MRED-Cu has better thermostability under 150℃and it has good thermostability between 150 and 200℃; MRPG has better thermostability then MRPG-Cu, MRPG has good thermostability at 189℃but it was 169℃for MRPG-Cu.A method for preparation of immobilized of polyphenol oxidase in banana is introduced. The activity and Michaelis-Menten constant Km of MRED-Cu immobilized polyphenol oxidase was determined. The factors influencing the activity of immobilized polyphenol oxidase were studied in detail, and reusability of immobilized polyphenol oxidase by MRED-Cu was measured. The results show that the MRED-Cu, is better immobilized carrier of polyphenol oxidase Resistance of immobilized polyphenol oxidase to heat, acids and bases is studied, too. Km value of MRED-Cu-E is 1.81×10-2 mol/L, which is less than that of the native polyphenol oxidase (3.81×l0-2 mol/L), this is attributed to the adsorption between MRPG-Cu and substrate, The immobilized polyphenol oxidase can be used repeatedly and the activity was reserved 6.3% after being reused 12 times.
