The Primary Study On Preparation And Quality Standard Of Xinjikang Pellets

Xinjikang pellets is an effective preparation to cure viral myocarditis (VCM). It consists of ingredients of Radix Salvia and Radix Astragali. The VCM may be acute, subac or chronic according to the course of the illness. In order to satisfy the chronic VCM patient's clinical demand for long time use of drugs, to attain the aim of reducing times of administration and side effects, to enhance the bioavailability, the article systematically studied the extraction, separation, purification and preparation procedure of the sustained-release according to the clinic characteristic and property of the effective part, and prepareded the better treatment oral sustained release pellets for viral myocarditis .The sustained release pellets were prepared with ethyl cellulose and stearic acid by using the machine, and adopt the method of extruding and kneading to pellets, and optimize the prescription and technology by using orthogonal experiment design. Take the release rate of salvianolic acid B as the standard, data fitting by the Higuchi equation. The experiment has adoped the TLC approach to take quality research and HPLC methods to carry out the quantity analysis of the pellets, acquiring the result by measuring the content of Salvianolic acid B, with which we can control the quality of Xinjikang pellets effectively.In sum, the experiment will provide the scientific foundation for the big industries's production, lay a good foundation for researchment and exploration of new medicine, and offer the reference for the standardization of herbs.
