Fine blanking technology is a new method of metal stress process. It has characteristic of high quality, efficient and low consumption, and has notable technical and economic benefit. Since German invented this punch technology in 1923, it has been spread worldwide. It was abroad used in many aspects such as apparatus and instruments, working facilities, home appliances, light industry machine, motorcar, ordnance, and aerial equipments. Nowadays it has been an important technical method of modern industry to reduce cost, improve capability and increase benefit.The shaping course of Fine blanking is very complex. Material forms a local plastic cutting area between punch and bottom die, and brings violent plastic flow under the effect of press stress. The grad of stress and strain is great, and it is an unstable transmutation process that came through an elastic distortion, plastic distortion and cut rupture. Ancient research found some experiential or half-resolution formulas depended on large numbers of experiments and simple dynamic analysis, then used them to account power and energy parameter. The development of plastic forming emulation technology provides new way for researching Fine blanking mechanism and consequently forecasting forming disfigurement, optimizing parameters. DEF0RM-3D software used in this article is a perfect plastic forming emulation software.This article simulated the fine-blanking process of simply shaped round 45# steel disk. It educed the distribution of flow stress, mean stress and mean strain in material's distortion, forecasted its develop trend, explained the display of each section and ultimately rupture, then drew the curve of power and energy in Fine blanking. It studied many factors such as blank holder pressure, anti-pressure, clearance between punch and bottom die, and parameters of dentiform on blank holder, analyzed the influence of these factors' change to stress and strain field in distortion area and the appearance of shear crack, summarized the appropriate ratio of blank holder pressure and anti-pressure, and the best range of other factors. The fine-blanking workpieces with turnings was simulated especially, proved that it exists stress-centralize phenomenon on the turnings. In design we should minish sharp edge, use lubricity to replace it. At last some common disfigurements in fine-blanking workpieces were summarized, and brought forward some resolvent to them.In the experiment part of this article, workpieces of the shape in simulation were punched. To factors such as clearance, blank holder pressure, anti-pressure and V-ring position, It obtained the effect of fine-blanking by this parameter and drawed the relationship picture between shear bright ratio and this parameter through modifying this parameter while holding others invariant. The simulation result was approximately match to experiment's result. It shows that using DEF0RM-3D software in quality control can reduce cost of design and experiment, enhance efficiency.
