With extensive application of blasting techniques, the damages of blasting vibration have become an important problem of the national economy. Researchers of many countries have made hardly and much unremitting investigations and explorations to it. The blasting vibration wave is analyzed and researched to find out its disciplinarian. So the damages of the blasting vibration can be good controlled. However, the blasting vibration wave is strong random, fuzzy and uncertain signals and contains various frequency components of the interferential wave, because of stacking of the interferential wave, analyzing blasting vibration have became very difficult. Especially, the propagation regularity of the blasting vibration wave is still in the air, and many problems need to be solved and consummated immediately. Aimed at the aforementioned problems, based on the foregone researches, the author brought forward a new studying subject on the wavelet analysis of the blasting vibration wave and its initiative damage control, and carried out systematic deep-going study based upon a vast amount of monitoring data from engineering blasting.(1)Introduce the current analysis methods of the blasting vibration signals; theoretically expound the basic principles and mathematical basis of wavelet analysis. Compare wavelet analysis with FT, STFT and HHT.(2)Introduce the classification of the blasting vibration wave and its characteristic. Particular introduce the propagation regularity and energy distributing disciplinarian of the blasting vibration wave. Discuss the factors of affecting blasting vibration wave.(3) The blasting vibration signals that contained interference and noise are de-noised by wavelet analysis. So we can conduct further analysis of blasting vibration signals.(4)The blasting vibration signals are analyzed by energy analysis methods. The energy distributions of the different frequency bands are obtained. Through it, we can obtain the propagation regularity of blasting vibration wave and it changes with blasting factors.(5)The blasting vibration signals are analyzed by time-energy analysis. Identify the time of detonator priming and ascertain reasonable subordinate interval in millisecond delay blasting to decrease blasting vibration and control the damage of blasting.In this paper, wavelet analysis is used to de-noise the blasting vibration signals. It also is used to time-energy analysis and spectra analysis to obtain the energy distribution of the different frequency bands and the actual time of detonator priming in millisecond delay blasting. Research shows the superiority of wavelet analysis in the analysis of the blasting vibration signal. We believe that the wavelet analysis have a good application prospects in the field of analysis of the blasting vibration signals.
