Research Of Flame Retardant, Fire Fighter Protective Fibers And Fabrics

Inorganic green flame retardant viscose fiber was prepared, and mechanical property, combustion and dying process were investigated. Weaving technical of flame retardant viscose/Nomex, flame retardant viscose/Basofil fiber were studied, and the property of blend fabrics were discussed. And three different flame retardant protective fabrics were designed according different application fields.Flame retardant viscose fiber was prepared with the adding of silicate sodium into spinning solution and congratulation bath. Inorganic flame retardant was crosslinked with sodium aluminate and interpreted flame retardant/viscose network was formed. Flame retardant viscose has excellent flame retardancy. Heat release rate, heat of effective combustion, and smoke release were decreased during flame retardant viscose combustion with the analysis of CONE. Flame retardant dying viscose fiber could be obtained through adjusting dying process.Flame retardant viscose/Basofil fiber were prepared through adjusting weaving parameters. Combustion characterization of blending fabric was analysized. Flame retardant and water steam in flame retardant viscose were released and covered over fabric under high temperature radiation of CONE, lots of foam formed on the blending fabric of flame retardant viscose/Basofil fiber. Join intumescent flame retardancy effect was found for blending fabric.Flame retardant viscose fiber/Nomex blending fabric were prepared and has excellent hand feeling, air ventilation, moisture absorption, mechanical property which could be used for fire fighter protective cloth.And three different protective fabric: flame retardant fire fighting coat, high temperature resistant phase change protective cloth, and high temperature resistant, fire against and fire proximity suit were designed which could be used for different fire fighting application fields.
