Microcellular plastic is a new kind of polymer, which has the cell sizes in the range of 1 to 10 micros, and the cell densities in the range of 109~1012 cells per cubic centimeter. With this microcosmic construction, they exhibit excellent properties compared to the unfoamed plastic, so they can used in many fields. By now, the main technologies used to manufacture microcellular foams are periodic means, improved batch means, injection molding means, pressure molding means and continuous extrusive means. Continuous extrusive means technology, as its continuous manufacture and easily control, which can using in cosmically manufacture areas has been attention abroad. In the present work, a novel procedure to prepare composite foaming agent by intercalation and replacement process was proposed. Dispersing inserted nano-particles into polymers, then foaming the material by extruder. The method can control the density and aperture of the foams, thus the microcellular foams can be produced by the subsistent extruder. There are three main works in this paper. The first was produced a novel AC/LDHs nano-composite was prepared by the novel intercalation-replacement process of azodicarbonamide. PH is one of the key factors for the interlayer process. In this work, we got which PH is the optimal one for the interlayer process. The second work was designed an extrusive die, using by this die we can get a large-scale press change range. Through extrusive experiment, we can get the relationship between die press and foaming. The third work was using this AC/LDHs nano-composite as foaming agent in extrusive experiment. Through this experiment, we summarized the optimal foaming equipments and process parameters.
