The centrifugal extruder is a late-model equipment which is used for plastic processing. Its main characteristic is completing solid conveying and building pressure under centrifugal force. High efficiency and low energy consumption is its advantage. This paper has "studied the structural feature and operating principle of solid conveying zone in centrifugal extruder. According to the dynamics of relative delivery and the D'Alembert's principle, the pressure building principle is achieved and the pressure distribution has carried on the analog computation. Meanwhile, Theoretical calculation of centrifugal extruder solid conveying zone pressure distribution was reflected in chart form by the aid of powerful graphics software MathCAD with a more intuitive understanding. Theoretical foundation of centrifugal extruder introduced in this paper was dynamics of relative delivery of particles in theoretical mechanics and the D'Alembert's principle of particles.Specifically, the major work of this paper was focused on as follows: 1. Structural characteristics and working principle of centrifugal extruder were synoptically introduced which helps readers to have a good understanding of centrifugal extruder.2. Detailed analysis of the principle of solid conveying and how to build enough pressure during solid conveying zone of centrifugal extruder were put forward. The difference of solid conveying zone between centrifugal extruder and traditional screw extruder was also introduced. Finally, the mathematical model of pressure distribution of solid conveying zone and influence factors was achieved according to the dynamics of relative delivery particle and the D'Alembert's principle of particles. And Simulation pressure distribution of solid conveying zone by MathCAD software.3. The device to analog solid conveying of centrifugal extruder was established. AutoCAD and ProE software are used to complete the drawing design of the experiment equipment, machining, assembly and debugging. Solid conveying theoretical of centrifugal extruder was proved to be correct in accordance with relevant experiments. So the feasibility of centrifugal extruder was also discussed.
