Rare earth metal complexes of ferreocenylcarbonyl hydrazineLnL3(ClO4)3·nH2O(where Ln=La, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, Lu;n=1-5)have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, electricalconductance, IR and 1HNMR spectra. The redox properties of ligand and some of itscomplexes have been investigated by cyclic voltammetric method. The solidfluorescence spectra of Sm(Ⅲ), Eu(Ⅲ), Th(Ⅲ), Dy(Ⅲ) complexes have also beenstudied. The ligand L(L=1'-ethylferrocenylcarbonyl Hydrazine)is bidentate, coordinatingthrough the amino N atom and the carbonyl O atom. The complexes are electrolytesof 1:1 style and one of perchlorate anions is outer sphere.
