The problems in manufacturing technology of composite conical shell manufactured by automated tape laying are researched in this dissertation,including cutting and laminating methods of prepreg tapes, and related equipments and softwares. The main contents of this dissertation are summarized as follows:Firstly, according to the new performance requirements and the problems of existing manufacturing technoloyies, a new manufacturing method of composite conical shell based on the combination of automated tape laying and filament winding is introduced in this dissertation.Secondly, based on the characteristics of automated tape laying and analysis of geometrical of conical shell, the cutting and laminating methods of prepreg tapes for 0°plies and helicoidal plies in composite conical shell are advanced. The solving processes of cutting parameters are advanced. Two conditions of hoop-winding of conical shell are particularly studied in this dissertation. The methods are verified by examples.Thirdly, according to the cutting and laminating methods of prepreg tapes, this dissertation advances a new conception--the transcription of pieces of prpreg tape. Two kinds of equipment based on this conception are provided, and the application ranges of these equipments are introduced in this dissertation. Then, the three dimensional models of special tape laying head and precutting equipment drew by CATIA are provided in this dissertation.Fourthly, according to the two kinds of manufacturing equipment, two kinds of continuous cutting method of full-width prpreg tape are advanced. The solving processes of natural path of prpreg tape in mandril coordinate system for each ply are introduced. The laminating processes of 0°plies and helicoidal plies in composite conical shell are advanced in this dissertation. The processes are validated by examples.With the manufacturing technology advanced by this dissertation, the manufacturing processes of composite conical shell will be high effective and quick. This dissertation solves the technical problem of laminating 0°plies in composite conical shell which can not be manufactured by filament-winding, and solves the contradiction between higher performance requirements and existing manufacturing technologies can not satisfy the requirements.
