Research On Screw Coining Press Control System Of Two Servo Motor Drive

Based on AC servo motors, NC heavy duty mechanical driving technology is a combination of new and high technology and traditional mechanical technology. Used as main driving in forming equipment, it can greatly improve intelligent level, reliability and working performances of the equipment.This project applies NC heavy duty mechanical driving technology to forming equipments. A servo screw coining press is developed with own knowledge property right. The key research in this paper is on control system ofservo screw coining press.The control system schemes are designed basing on equipment's performance. Their advantage and disadvantage is pointed out. In allusion to equipment's performance characteristic, the scheme of PC and motion controller is chosen. The hardware is consisted of GT-200-SV motion controller, IMS-GF3 alternate servo driver and the especially designed servo motors. The rotary encoder is speed and position examination part of motor, the optical grating ruler is position examination part of slide. All of these make up of a closed loop control system. According to modularization and OOD thoughts, the control system software is consisted of seven function modules: user managing module, system main controlling module, process parameters setting module, initialization and self check module, working state monitoring module, process parameters managing module and self adapting control module. And the function modules are designed in detail. The practical running shows that the control software has advantage of amity interface and easy operation, the random working characteristic curves can be obtained, the target function is entirely achieved. The experimental results show that the control system can meet the function of servo screw coining press and the servo screw coining press has advantage of controllable movement and speed.The research and development of servo screw coining press has an important significance on accelerating the application pace of NC heavy duty mechanical driving technology in our country, breaking oversea technical monopoly, improving the level of manufacturing engineering on forming equipment and humoring the forming equipments' current of numeral, information and intelligence.
