However, the traditional forming equipment has single working mode and poor technological adaptability, which can’t satisfy the modern manufacturing requirements of material forming process control. The main development trend is that more digital, information and intelligent molding equipments are research and development. The slide block of servo screw coining press is drived by an AC servo motor, the velocity, acceleration, displacement and force of the slide block can be realized precise numerical control by the control system. Forming equipment technology adaptability and the using range is greatly improved, provides a more convenient condition for optimizing forming process methods to improve the formability of materials, its digital intelligent control also provides the basis for forming the device into the Intelligent Manufacturing Systems. In order to promote the digitization forming equipment, information technology and the development of intelligent, the paper carries out the following research and development work for the control system of servo screw coining press.First of all, according to the functional requirements of the new servo screw coining press control system, the hardware scheme was builded which has an industrial PC and motion control card and data acquisition card. Visual Studio 2008 (C#) was selected as a software development platform. The control system is simple, high reliability and real-time. The characteristics of the IPC can be fully utilized to short the development cycle and improve the control system performance and reliability, but also can help to update and upgrade the system. Practice has proved that the platform has greater flexibility and good versatility to meet the functional requirements for servo screw coining press.Secondly, the topic research and development of servo screw coining press control system, focusing on the development of servo screw coining press motion control and fault diagnosis mode. The system uses closed-loop motion control method to achieve servo screw coining press of the slider in motion control systems, the S-curve acceleration or deceleration is used to make the slider can move along the technology curve track accurately, the out-of-step or overrun or shock was avoided when servo screw coining press start-stop and shift arising. In order to ensure interchangeability of recorded data, the machine coordinate system was builded for the servo screw coining press. Six basic forming technology was designed to convenient normal user to use, and two custom technology mode of control the movement and control the force are designed to help users develop a new type of complex molding process, full play the superior characteristics of the servo screw coining press, and make it have the ability to achieve flexible processing. Based on fault tree analysis and expert system to establish a fault diagnosis system for the servo screw coining press. In the aspects of condition monitoring and fault diagnosis, all kinds of signals were collected and recorded through the sensor and the diagnosis system, it is capable of failure to timely diagnosis and treatment, in order to protect the system safe and stable operation.Thirdly, the system software was design base on the working characteristics, performance requirements, control mode and the software development platform of servo screw coining press. When designing the system,The system software was designed follow the principles of integrity, observability, effectiveness, portability development principles. The design of the software consist rights management and master interface two parts. According to the characteristics of the function of the control system, the design of the control system software was adopted modular and object-oriented design method, the control system software was divided into logic control parts, motion control, real-time monitoring and fault detection and data processing four parts of the control system software, and the design of each function module was designed in detail.Finally, servo screw coining press control system has been integrated, and the testing and commissioning are conducted. The test results show that the control system can meet the control requirements of servo screw coining press, the control system has good process adaptability and flexibility, and the system is stable and reliable. Control system can realize the forming process in the library and flexible manufacturing. At the same time, the development of forming process which driving conditions is force, expanding the application of the servo screw coining press in the powder compacting process. It shows that the research and development of servo screw coining press has great significance to promote digitalization, informatization and intelligent of forming equipment and the development of new technology. |
