Chelating surfactants is a type of functional surfactants.The surfactants with surface activity and chelate function,have good compatibility of environment,and also it is a good assistant,so it is considered dy many specialists and merchants.It is a extensive prospect and green ring protecting surfactant.With very widespread application.And profound research,it is a very important action in all the national economy.This article gives an overall summarize of chelating surfactants,formulates the varieties,features,synthesis of present state,tendency.Beacuse of potential problem exsit in production material of virulence and after treatment.So this article gives idea of select theme and route of technique,The main research of contents and result work are listed below:1.Lauric acid reacted with ethylenediamine to systhesis intermediate N-lauryl-ethylenediamine.The structures of N-lauryl-ethylenediamine were characterized by IR and NMR.Indicate:for the N-lauryl-ethylenediamine, ethylenediamine reacted with lauric acid in mole ratio of 4:1 at 110℃for 3h.The productive rate is the best,and it can get more than 80%.2.With the solvent of sodium-hydroxide,N-lauryl-ethylenediamine reacted with chloroacetic acid to systhesis N-lauryl-ethylenediamine-triacetic(N-lauryl-ED3A). Research the best method to synthesis the N-lauryl-ED3A with orthogonal,the structures of N-lauryl-ED3A were characterized by IR and NMR,in mole ratio of n(chloroaceticacid):n(N-lauryl-ethylenediamine)=5:l at 80C 10h for ED3Aproduct.3.The surface activities of CMC and interfacial tension weredetermined,by means of hanging ring of N-lauryl-ED3A.The CMC is 3.48 mmol.L-1,and the interfacial tension is 24.10 mNm-1at 27℃.Indicate the good surface activity;at the same time, testing the HLB,K.P,according to the result indicate it have good washing power.And the physical and application property,such as property of foaming,emulsification,wetting,chelateing the Ca2+and so on.The chelateing the Ca2+is different to the conventional chelating agent,concerned to the concerteation,the chelating capability is enlarge with the oversize of concerteation,with the enlarging of the concerteation to one level,the complexation can ret the rate of 1:1.
