Planting mulberries and raising silkworm, which can produce millions ofsilkworm faeces, are traditional sidelines in some regions of China. Originally,silkworm faeces were used as feedstuff, fertilizer, and tradition medicine.Silkworm faeces were deeply studied and processed after the 1960s. Theycontain chlorophyl, pectin, leaf protein, carotenoid and so on, which are widelyused in foodstuff and medicament industry.For rationally utilizing silkworm faeces, it was primarily researched in thisarticle on the new processing of preparing sodium copper chlorophyllin fromsilkworm faeces to coaching industry production. Pectin and leaf protein wereextracted in succession, and the optimal processing were found.It was improved in this article on the processing conditions, adopted theway that chlorophyll was reacted with copper sulphate when it was beingextracted, then saponifed and reacted with copper sulphate again. The product was high color price and attained GB3262-82. The experiment indicated that theoptimal conditions were: when the mass of silkworm faeces was 100g, the timeof extraction was 6h and copper sulphate solution was 2.5%12mL; thesecondary copper sulphate solution was 10%4mL; the sodium hydroxideethanol solution was 10%13mL; the color price was 636; the theoretical yieldwas 84.3%. Also, it indicated that the content of chlorophyll in silkworm faeceswas 0.670%.It was researched in this article on extracting pectin by heating up andmicrowaving. The experiment indicated that the optimal conditions were: whenthe mass of material was 30g. Conditions of heating up: dilute vitriol solutionwas 0.5%500mL; the time of extraction was 60min; mass of active carbon anddiatomite were 45g and 9g; the yield was 9.17%. Conditions of microwaving:the power was 720W; time of extraction was 5min; the yield was 9.83%. Itproved that microwaving is more superior than heating up on the efficiency andyield.It was researched in this article on extracting leaf protein by equipotentialdeposit. The experiment indicated that the optimal conditions were: when themass of material was 100g, the sodium hydroxide solution was 0.4%1500mL;the time of extraction was 8h; the temperature was 50℃; the yield was 8.02%;the content of protein was 25.4%. The product obtained the grade of feedstuff.It was also researched other useful components in this article.It has important realistic and social meaning in this article about studying on integratively utilizing silkworm faeces and impoldering farm produce.
