Generally speaking, NC tool is composed by NC controlling system,servo driving system and feedback checking system.As the brain of high-end tool,advanced NC technology plays a key role in realizing automation,integration,network,and digitalizati- on,and its performance will directly effect the efficience and accuracy of manufactory. So nowdays,in the domain of NC manufactory system,undoubtly,servo system is very important,because whether or not the manufactoried product's quanlity is good rests with it.In the light of the above causes,most of the customers pursue the well performance servo system.But because of lacking the proper servo testing tool,it's very difficult to research and develop the servo system product.Most people R&D it with long period, and they cannot assure its quanlity. It's the high time to R&D servo testing tool.Its aim is checking its character and performance,for the servo researchers and developers,as well as for the comstomers and servo users.Directed with servo system performance testing problem,firstly, this paper analyses the working principles of servo system and its performance indexes, and researches servo testing principles.On the ground of it,we have designed both the logical structures and physical structures of the general servo testing tool.According to it and servo testing requirement,the architecture of it have been introduced,hierarchy of software and hardware divided,destination of design and implementation of software and hardware,as well as the main modules and their function assured.At last,we models and analyse it with ETPN network,which is a formalized method,on the ground of the above work,we design and implement the hardware and software of servo testing tool.
