The pattern optimization is the premise of technical calculation. In this part, by analysis on body figure of women, firstly study the relationship between two-dimensional prototype and three-dimensional body, and then combine with the fabric property and fashioning technology, put forward sweater basic pattern. Secondly, make research on how to deal with the pattern balance. Because there always is no dart in sweater pattern, the key to pattern optimization is the shape of armhole. Finally, apply sweater basic pattern to study the shape for loose armhole, fitting armhole and close-fitting armhole, which make great contributions to the optimization for pattern design.2) The optimization for Technical calculationTechnical calculation is the way to transfer widthwise measure to the number of loops or needles, vertical measure to the number of turns, widening or narrowing by needles in some turns and so on, which direct the knitting and make the panel. In this part, firstly study the controls parameter for armhole. Secondly, according to the armhole shape, put forward three-part narrowing method for technical calculation, which can control the armhole shape freely and easily. Finally, adopt Object Oriented programming language Visual Basic. Net to realize the technical calculation. This software is SweaterMaker1.0, which can calculate the three-part narrowing technology quickly and properly.Make different styles for sweater samples, the final fitting appearance for all samples look good, which proves the practicability of sweater basic pattern and three-part narrowing method for armhole technical calculation.
