Measurement uncertainty is a new concept, it is more scientific and reasonable than conventional error theoretic. It is the quantitative token of a measurement result. Due to close contact with each other all over the world, which requires measurement data are comparative and to have a uniform criterion for denominating the quality of results. At the same time, ISO/IEC17025 and HJ/T168 also require to evaluate measurement uncertainty. Recently, heavy metal pollution in soil has effected living of human, and is becoming a serious environment problem. So to study the measurement uncertainty, is important in theory and valuable in application. The aim of this thesis is resolving problems bright in the process of chemical analysis, and helping for and offering some guides to the evaluation of measurement uncertainty in chemical laboratory. The thesis studied the measurement uncertainty theory and application in detection of heavy metal contents in soil, which based on the《Guide to the Expression of Uncertainty in Measurement》and the criteria document JJF-1059.The main contents as follows:With delamination theory and already base of study, the thesis established the evaluation procedure and mathematic model and analyzed main sources of uncertainty, which consists of the process of quantifying and clearing up, glass vessel, temperature, apparatus and the process of detecting concenttration and so on. It quantified all five sources according to A and B evaluation methods; It evaluated the measurement uncertainty of detecting the content of Cu,Zn,Cr,Pb,Cd,Ni,As,Hg in soil according to established evaluation procedure and mathematic model; part of discussion and conclusion summarized the study fruits: it establishes the evaluation procedure and mathematic model, summarizes five main sources of measurement uncertainty of detection of heavy metal contents in soil. The uncertainty bright in the process of clearing up is most, secondly, that is the detecting contiontration, and apparatus source takes third place, the infections of glass vessel, temperature and the process of quantifying are slim. The innovations of this thesis: firstly advances the process of clearing up is primary source, and also quantified it.
