Poly (ethylene oxide)/teraamino-phthalocyanine copper(â…¡) (PEO/(NH2)4PcCu) hybrid nanofibers with diameter of 200-300 nm were prepared by electrospinning technique. The hybrid nanofibers membrane was characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), fourier transform infrared (FT-IR), ultraviolet-visible (UV-Vis), and photoluminescence (PL), respectively. These results indicated that (NH2)4PcCu molecule was successfully disstack and embedded in the one-dimensional hybrid nanofibers via chemical interaction between PEO and (NH2)4PcCu molecules. The PL result showed that the PEO/(NH2)4PcCu hybrid nanofibers had an intense emission.Nanofibers of poly (vinyl pyrrolidone) (PVP)/Eu(NO3)3 and poly(acrylonitrile) (PAN)/Eu(NO3)3 were prepared by using sol-gel processing and electrospinning technique, respectively. The nanofibers were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), fourier transform infrared (FT-IR), and photoluminescence (PL), respectively. In our work, the PVP/Eu(NO3)3 hybrid nanofibers had favorable photoluminescence properties, compared the nanofibers to the film, the intensity of photoluminescence had a significant increase. And, with the Eu3+ content increased the intensity of photoluminescence increased. The PAN/Eu(NO3)3 hybrid nanofibers had excellent photoluminescence properties, and with the Eu3+ content increased, the intensity of photoluminescence varied from weak to strong then to weak. A possible PL mechanism was proposed. This kind of material was expected to be applied for optoelectronic nanodevices and so on.
