With the progress of modernization of Chinese traditional medicine, the distillation, structure-modified and content determination method of the avtive components of Chinese traditional medicine is becoming an indispensable part. The research of my disquisition is related to composition of baicalin—Fe( II) complex ,researching of the distillation methods of total Phytosterone in tea and a content determination method of total Phytosterone. It has an actual meaning to the development of new medicine. The synthesis and characterization of Baicalin with Ferrous(II) are reported in this paper. An orthogonal test was used to optimized the conditions of the synthesis of Baicalin and Ferrous(II). The composition and structure of Baicalin-Ferrous( II) complex was characterized by elementary analysis TG-DTA IR UV-Vis and AAS spectroscopies. Then, the scavenging effects of baicalin and complex with different concentrations on hydroxyl radical were evaluated. All the results obtained were satisfactory. The Total Phytosterone in Achyranthes bidentata and the Tea Polyphenols in tea were separated and concentrated by solvent sublation. In this paper, the parameters of sublation solvent, such as: gas flow rate, pH, sublation time and electroly- te (KCl) etc. on the sublation efficiency were investigated in details, and the optimal conditions of solvent sublation were obtained. In the optimal conditions, the sublation efficiency of solvent sublation was evaluated.Compared with the solvent extraction, solvent sublation showed many obvious advantages. The products separated and concentrated under the optimal conditions were determined by FTIR and UV, and these were proved to be Phytosterone and Tea Polyphenol respectively. At the end, a new content determination method of Tea Polyphenol was studied, and was also compared with experimental results by traditional method. These results were satisfactory.
