Along with gradual popularization of Numerical Control machining technology, NC machining simulation and optimization technology are applied more and more extensively. But applications of traditional simulation and optimization technology are only limited to technical department, which are unable to apply to the equipment level in workshop. For continual development of networked NC, enterprises informationalization is embedding and developing toward the equipment level in workshop, and it is possible that traditional NC machining simulation and optimization technology is extended to the equipment level in workshop. From the view point of engineering application, in implementation of enterprises informationalization, Numerical Control(NC) machining simulation and optimization technology are applied in the equipment level in aid of information interactive terminal technology, which makes organic combination of VMT,information networking and manufacturing technology embodied adequately.Firstly, the survey of networked NC machine development is stated in this paper, and introducing the mode of network manufacturing in workshop based on information interactive terminal proposed by ME of Chongqing University; it analyzes the importance of NC machining simulation and research on domestic and foreign. Secondly, it analyzes and summarizes geometric basic theories,key technology and imagine display technology of NC machining simulation technology; And it discusses the theories involved machine tool simulation model composition principle,geometric model and motion model, etc., and introduces detailedly function modules of mature NC simulation system VERICUT abroad and establishment process of simulating environment. Combining with optimization techniques and cutting principle, it exploringly establishes and analyzes tool-path optimizing mathematical model based on the principle of optimization of VERICUT.Thirdly, it illuminates the structure system of the equipment level informationalization in workshop. NC machining simulation technology applied to the equipment level in workshop through information interactive terminal, and in order to realize NC machining simulation technology instead of the process of test chipping indeed, it brings forward the simulation mode of NC machining oriented equipment level in workshop. Finally, research results are applied to the equipment level informationalization system in workshop of certain enterprise, which gains better applied effects.
